What would you do if your girlfriend’s Daddy called you the N-

word over a failed dinner? After getting back home would you

blame her for her Daddy’s insult? Would you fault her for his

indiscretion? Would you yell and scream and vent your feelings

so much that it could lead to a breakup? Or would you forgive

her??? And if you were the girlfriend, would you battle with

your boyfriend about your Daddy? Or would you try to get him to

just let it go? Would you try to sweep it under the rug and

just forget about it??? These are some of the issues that are

dealt with in “Anatomy of A Big Lie.” This scene is part of a

larger play called “Benefit of the Doubt” which is an updating

of the classic American movie “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.”
